September 2 & 3:
Come to Proutopia! There's a pop-up market right down the road from us, at Heidi Hunter's place, and over a dozen artists of all media will have their work on display and available for purchase. I'll be there with my CDs, playing songs from "Marie's Forest", and selling my book "Prairie Girl's Song". This is an artist's sale, not a 'craft' sale, and the calibre of work is amazing! September 16:

"MASS APPEAL" `ukulele gathering! Oodena Circle, The Forks, Winnipeg, MB  This is going to be an amazing gathering of as many `ukulele players as we can fit into the Oodena Circle! Last year we had 85 ukers, and we're going for more this year. It is free, it is open to players of all abilities whether you know 2 chords or 200, and it will be FUN! If you click on the link, you will see that you can download all the music and try it out between now and then. There are also notes and videos or sound clips for each song so you can become familiar with the tunes. This year I'm featuring songs written by Canadian songwriters from across the country. We will meet at 6pm and have a run-through/rehearsal from 6 -7 pm, and then from 7:30 - 8:00pm we will perform the numbers. Bring chairs, music stands, and maybe something with long sleeves depending upon the weather. If it rains we'll move it to Union Station. https://massappealwinnipeg.ca/2017ukuleles/
